8 Months

School has started. The beginning of crawling has started. Sitting has started. A new nephew was born.
This time of year has always meant beginnings for me. I've been in a school either as a student or teacher basically my whole life. September means new and also busy. As a new mother I'm realizing that the busy-ness of life is trying to take the precious moments of my babies lives from me...but I won't let it. I'm clinging to the wake ups, the feeding, the giggling, the tickling, the newly thrown fits and teething, and of course to Jesus...cuz Lord knows where we'd be without Him at this point! This month of perpetual hello's also had a goodbye as well. It doesn't quite seem real yet, us being in different states and all, but my Grandma passed on after a long battle with Alzheimer's. I'm just so glad she got to meet the babes! Love you Gran Gran.

The babies go for a 9 month check up at the end of this month...CRAZY- I will write a quick update with the new weights after!

Maggie:
She is full of smiles and giggles that say tee-hee. She wants to talk and tell you Mamamama all day long. This little girl and her thunder thighs keeps us on our toes for sure. She loves yogurt, sitting up, stealing her brothers binkies and toys, and books with babies in them.

Hank
This little boy started OT this month to help him reach his milestones. He's got some tight muscles so he gets a massage 3 times a day (I wanna know where my three massages a day are!!!). He's already starting to react well to this and is sitting up and really making progress crawling. Hank loves any food that you put near his mouth, Mom's hair, watching his siblings laugh, a piano toy from Nana and being tickled.

Sawyer
This guy...he is a MESS. His personality is unstoppable. He basically tries to bear crawl instead of just regular crawl. This kid. He's started sitting pretty well and will talk your ear off if you give him the chance. He loves FOOD, mom's breast pump tubes, tags, squealing, peekaboo, and Roomba.

That's all for now! Thanks for keeping up with our journey! Next month brings exciting fall fun for the trio! Love to all!

7 months

Long time no blog!!

Life with these three babies js nothing short of fun, amazing and exhausting. I'm still off for the summer and am soaking up every baby moment I possibly can. We are not all sleeping through the the night yet, BUT progress is being made! They still love mom's milk but they love their rice cereal and have tried carrots, green beans, kiwi, avocado, chicken, squash, zucchini, bananas, blueberries, tomatoes, and cucumber so far! Making your own baby food and having access to a garden ROCKS! These kids eat so much we'd be in the poor house trying to buy all the prepackaged stuff...plus me having a little hippie tendency makes me feel like this is the right move.

This summer we had a visit from Brad and Sarah!

Thanks for coming to join the circus for a little while! We loved having you around! It was like old times and new combined and it was awesome.

 So here are your updates!

Maggie

She is quickly becoming out wild child! Her screams, squeals, and all around noise makes our house fun!
Her favorite position is trying to hang her head backwards.
She loves bananas and blueberries, hates kiwi and tolerates most everything else.
She loves her exersaucer and jumper
And of course being wrapped to me

Hank

This little handsome man loves his tummy time
He loves his sister and brother and giggles when they do!
He loves ALL food. He would eat everything if he could!
He is my snuggle bug and has an all around cool and calm demeanor!

Sawyer
He is Mr. Personality with all of his smiles and giggles. He loves being tickled and being on his belly. He does this kick 5 times and push up thing over and over and over...I think he thinks if he kicks hard enough he's going to go somewhere...hasn't panned out for him yet, but time will tell. He's still chunky monkey and definitely let's you know when he is getting hungry! He's not going to skip a meal, that's for sure.

Now let's take a moment to appreciate the identicalness (not a word I don't believe) of these boys...holy cow

It's so awesome to see a friendship and love growing between these three. The other day Sawyer and Maggie had this conversation with eye contact while Hank sat beside them watching and smiling.

Well that's all for now villagers. Maggie is awake and that means my fingers are needed for something far more important! Love y'all!

6 Months

We've been blessed with another great month with our sweet, giggly, ticklish babies. All I can say is how blessed I feel to call them mine...blessed in the good, blessed in the stress, blessed to have T as a partner. I've had the pleasure through this journey to meet other triplet moms and many of them aren't able to hold all three of their babies, not everyone is still here with them. I can't imagine and I am so thankful to have my three healthy, happy and whole.

I finished up my last few weeks of school and am off for the summer. WOOHOO! I did go in for some curriculum planning though, and Maggie decided she needed me that day...so she helped plan too!
Or maybe she distracted us... I can't really say.

That babies were introduced to the lake. Sawyer and Maggie we're loving life, but Hank was in a bad mood to begin win, so a foreign body of water was not what his idea of fun was in that moment.
Travis and I recently got to go on a mini stay cation to Richmond which was GREAT! I missed the babies, but I loved feeling the relaxation that I forgot came with not having the care of three infants on your mind at all times.

The babies are really starting to notice and interact with each other, which is super adorable. Hank and Sawyer are quite the tellers and talkers. Maggie will in her soft little voice tell you what's up though!
Maggie and Hank holding hands.

Everyone is teething. Ick.

We go this next week to get weight updates which I will post! And then we will get cleared for trying food hopefully! Everyone is looking pretty interested in what me and T are putting in our mouths.

Sawyer
We can't wait to see how big these babies are and enjoy the next month together as a family. Thanks for being our village.

5 Months

I can't believe another month has gone by with these precious beings. They have become so happy, so curious and so pudgy! I love to see the fat baby legs and arms. Remembering back to a time when their legs looked like an old ladies pantyhose had drooped, the cute fat rolls are a welcome sight!

So let's get to those updates!!

Maggie
My snuggly girl!
She loves waking up (like seriously, happiest kid ever in the morning...and 2am)
Loves blowing bubbles and kicking!
She rolling over front to back real well, and is working on reverse!
Her eyes are still blue and her hair is still red!

Hank
Hank is growing growing!!
He is our best through the night sleeper and started the trend! Thanks buddy!
He's rolling front to back and working on the other way!
Loves to smile and talk!
He loved hanging with the grandparents and great grandma when they came to visit!

Sawyer
He has started rolling from back to front.
He thinks he is the big man!
His smiles and giggle just melt your heart!
He also loves trying to fit his whole hand in his mouth!

We love the love and life these babies bring to our lives. Thank you all for your continued support!
