Quick Hello

We wanted to say a quick hello from the Dye clan! We are taking things one day at a time and trying (and I mean TRYING) to remember these babies aren't babies forever. I think it's so important to try and live in the moment and soak it all up.

We are still doing 90/10 breast milk/formula-but their appetites are slowly overtaking me. Plus, I figured out I'm pumping about 4 hours a day. That 4 hours is quite stressful if I don't have help around to put out any fires that pop up while I'm hooked to the milking machine! So of course I was like...I'll tandem nurse...problem solved...WRONG! These are the faces of those involved in the first tandem nursing adventure.
Not fans. SO we will try and try again.

T has gone to work nights at the plant for the outage, so me and the babes have been doing a lot of traveling to the lake for some MiMi, Nanny and Aunt S help! We are so grateful for all the help at home from our other amazing helpers as well! I'm so happy our little people get to grow up in the middle of all of this love.

Their little personalities are really starting to shine and it is a sweet thing to watch.

Maggie is the queen bee, and NEVER wants to be put down. She is a snuggle monster (the monster comes out when not being snuggled). She has two chins now and loves picking her head up to look at your face!  She has also told me she prefers nursing and will fight the bottle when she feels a little frisky.

Hank is a hungry, HUNGRY little man  with a puke problem.  He wants it all, but it just won't all stay in there! He loves cuddles and staring at lights. He likes being propped in his boppie. His reflux is not making his as miserable as before, she has something to smile about.

Him snuggling brother with a smile.

Sawyer is sooooo chill. Love me, hug me, give me a binkie and then prop me up somewhere and I'll chill most of the time. He likes looking at you and tummy time on your chest. Also he loves fans (what baby doesn't?! Strange).

In this picture he had to borrow Maggie's outfit because he peed through all of his...whoops!
I honestly don't know who is who...whoops
Mimi and her boys. Hank left Sayer right. Checkout that double chin!

So there you have it folks. A little piece of our ever changing, monotonous, beautiful, exhausted world.

  1. I just stumbled across your blog and had to comment. :) I am a fellow triplet mom and also live in VA! We are outside of Charlottesville and have 20 month old girls. Way to go on keeping up with pumping and breastfeeding! I know how difficult that is and hard to stay motivated. I don't feel like I have advice but if you have any questions or want to chat I'd be happy to. :) Also you are awesome for keeping a blog! I should have recorded so much more but I didn't and of course I forget sooo much! Enjoy those newborn snuggles as much as you can! They are toddlers running around before you know it! ;)
